Mr. Johnston is the President & CEO, and equity owner of AeroLogistix, and he is a results oriented, highly motivated and accomplished Senior Aviation Executive, with outstanding business and leadership experiences working within the corporate, commercial and government areas of aviation. He possesses an excellent record of achievement and advancement earned through demonstrated contributions made by being collaborative, responsive, team oriented and highly energetic, along with a solid commitment to motivating and developing subordinates. Mr. Johnston is experienced in complex and high profile undertakings, and possesses a solid reputation as a creative, principled organizer and leader, who consistently achieves goals and objectives in a highly productive environment.
Chief Strategic & Commercial Officer
is an analytical, and broadly experienced executive team member, with a demonstrated expertise for client centered solutions. Before joining AeroLogistix, Mr. Shulansky provided aviation consultancy as a partner, senior vice president and chief financial officer of Aviation World Services, LLC with a focus on governance; organization strategy and advancement, capital formation,and, management of policy and external affairs. An avid internationalist, he founded Atlantic Jet LLC in 2001 to develop scheduled international airline operations in a number of markets in the United States, including Bradley International Airport. In 1997, Mr. Shulansky helped to establish and served as a senior officer and corporate secretary of The IBP Aerospace Group, an international aerospace company with offices in East Hartford, Connecticut; Washington, DC; and London, UK, to develop and transfer Russian aerospace and defense technology to the United States.
Chief Financial Officer
is an accomplished Corporate Executive with proven experience as an aviation Chief Operating Officer and a Chief Financial Officer. He has contributed millions of dollars in revenue and profits through achievements in business development, as well as operations cost reductions, contract negotiations and general business management. Jim has over 40 year’s experience as a financial executive including multi-national, US, Russian, Cayman, Cypriot and Canadian corporations specializing in operations and financial systems, policies & procedures and restructuring projects. He has extensive working knowledge and experience in UFOC, Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR), US Federal Acquisition Regulations, SEC reporting requirements, US GAAP, FAS, Russian accounting rules and Russian Joint Stock Company Law. His background includes: Airline: SRVP / CFO of a SeaPort Airlines Inc., a regional airline operating multiple hubs with operations from Alaska to Georgia and other number states; Fixed Base Operations: Air10, COO for a project to rebrand and expand corporate fixed based operation; Aircraft Sales: Embraer Aircraft (Corporate Aircraft) Regional Sales Manager; SRVP / CFO for MilBrooke Helicopters.
Vice President Aircraft Leasing
has over 34 years of experience in the aviation industry with the Boeing Company, and his tenure included Customer Services, Program Management, Contracts and Sales in a Directorial role. Boyd is a highly effective, and persuasive communicator, and his worldwide customer exposure and firm understanding of the aviation industry, allows him to assist customers on total solutions, and firmly develops his “customer first” philosophy. He is a consummate professional with in-depth experience with multi-tasking project environments, and he maintains high personal standards, leads by example, and effectively utilizes hands on management style.
Vice President Operations
a thirty year airline industry veteran, started his career with Air Canada, and was responsible for worldwide flight operations including the Flight Ops Department, Operations Planning, scheduling, and a number of other related services. Glen, along with two other partners, started Phoenix Flight Operations, based in Montreal, was the Senior Vice- President and equity partner of the company, providing flight planning support services to Royal Airlines, All Canada Express, and a number of corporate jet operators. Glen possesses intimate knowledge of airline flight operations economics, and the ability to maximize its effect on enhancing the overall economic performance of aircraft operators. He is committed to high standards of quality, and has the ability to develop procedures and controls to maintain and enforce the standards.
Director Aviation Services, Europe-Middle East-Africa
has over 30 years’ experience built upon the solid foundations of a RAF Halton Apprenticeship and 22 year’s service in the RAF at home and abroad finishing his military career as an Engineering Officer. Since leaving the Service he has had a number of high profile appointments supporting some Europe’s leading low-cost carriers as a service provider with responsibility for continuing airworthiness management. As a practicing aircraft maintenance manager, he brings a strong commercial focus to the application of regulatory compliance. He has experience in the application of business process re- engineering techniques to improve the performance of operational maintenance business units. He has the ability to remove cost and add value to aircraft maintenance and airworthiness management organizations.
